Each child matures at a different rate according to their own genetic abilities. In an ideal world, educators could tailor the healthy amount of physical and mental strain needed for development to individuals, helping to maximize the abilities inherent in children. Personalization of the load is especially important in youth sports, where workouts that do not fit the current physiological condition can overload the early and late ones, which poses a serious health and performance risk. We offer a set of tools that parents and coaches can use to easily monitor their children’s development and effectively adapt the type and intensity of their current physical activity to the condition designated by their maturity level.
